In honor of Ronnie Sowle, bull riding is back at Kellogg Arena!
Western Days Bull Riding will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the arena, located at 1 McCamly Square in Battle Creek.
The event has something for everyone, costing just $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Kids 2 years old and younger are free!
Come and join the grilling and music offered at the “Unity in the Community” kick-off event the evening before at 6 p.m. Oct. 21 at The Haven of Rest Ministries, located at 11 Green St.
There will be a ton of action at the Western Days Bull Riding event with a variety of music for all to enjoy, including multi-award-winning country music artist Tommy Brandt playing live.
The event is held in honor of a man who gave himself fully to everything he did, according to his nephew and event founder Brian Sowle, and the central focus of Western Days is to spread the Gospel.
“There are people who would never think to step into a church, but will come to watch bull riding,” Brian Sowle said.
