Kellogg Community College’s Kampus Activities Board (KAB) had another successful turnout for their most recent event, an open karaoke day in the Student Center on the College’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek.
KAB member Drea Smith hosted the karaoke event and said it went along smoothly.
“I love the energy and comradery,” Smith said. “It’s just a good time all around.”
The event had been discussed several times during the club’s regular meetings, which are held at 10 a.m. Fridays in the Student Life office.
During the event, a handful of students jumped outside of their comfort zone and sang songs that they personally enjoy.
KAB runs several successful events for students to participate in each semester. Recent events include a Nerf war and a dance held a few weeks ago in the Kellogg Room.
The group will also be hosting another Nerf war event during KCC’s Brain Buster event in a few weeks.
