The Terrorfied Forest is a haunted forest and manor located at 145 Swarthout Road in Pinckney running every weekend from now until the day before and on Halloween.
Guests are welcome to enter the terrifying three-quarter-mile-long forest for $20, the two-story haunted manor for $10 or both for a discounted price of $25.
This Halloween tradition started local and has brought people from far and wide looking for fright around the Hallows’ Eve season for 20 years. This year, first-time owners Mike and Jen Bilksi are excited to continue the tradition with brand-new updates to both the forest and the manor.
Jen Bilski said the updates have made both venues “scarier than ever” – scary enough that you may think twice about bringing younger kids.
“We recommend that no child under 12 enter either (location), but there is no official rule,” Bilski said. “If you believe your child can handle it, feel free to bring them.”
The haunting continues from 8 to 10 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays and 8 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 28; the hours are 8 to 11 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 30 and 31.
Bilski said the three-quarter-mile-long walk in the forest takes 40 to 45 minutes and the manor experience takes about 15 minutes, so the combo package totals about an hour.
