Kellogg Community College’s Encore Theater Club invites you to The Bloodwood Masquerade Murder on Dec. 2, 2022. This will be an interactive party where each attendee will have a character that will be chosen ahead of time by Ella Smith, president of Encore. Attendees are welcome to dress up in masquerade ball attire if they desire to do so. If you want to participate you have to RSVP by Nov. 27 by contacting encoreKCC@gmail.com. There will be a $5 fee for each person that can be paid at the door, or paid in advance at the Student Life office on campus.
“Each participant will receive a character about a week in advance,” explains president of Encore, Ella Smith. “At the time of the party, each person will be given a sheet full of facts and secrets about their character. Through talking to the other characters, players will have to figure out who had the best motive for murder.” This will be the second event like this that Encore has put on, last fall they hosted Murder Among the Mateys, a pirate themed murder mystery party. “Murder Among the Mateys was an amazing event. It was so much fun to see everyone get into character, and it was so rewarding for Encore to win Program of the Year at the Outstanding Bruin Awards because of it.”
This year it will be held in the Kellogg Room on Kellogg Community College’s North Ave campus in Battle Creek, at 6 p.m. on Friday Dec. 2. There will also be a $5 entrance fee per person which can be paid either at the door or it can be paid at the Student Life office in advance. If you would like to join Encore on this night of mystery and murder contact encoreKCC@gmail.com to RSVP by Nov. 27.
