The Bruin Bookstore at Kellogg Community College will be doing their annual Hoodies for the Homeless event, combining their efforts with the Charitable Union coat collection for their ninth year this November
The bookstore can be found on the KCC Battle Creek campus at 450 North Ave. in the Lane-Tomas Building.
The bookstore will be collecting gently used hoodies and coats, along with hats, scarfs, mittens and gloves all throughout November. All items will be given to the Charitable Union to distribute.
Anyone who donates a hoodie to the Bruin Bookstore will receive 25% off a new hoodie.
This is a great opportunity for community members to give back to their community and help people in need. This is a chance to donate your gently used clothes you may not need and give them to people in need during this season of giving.
