Short’s Brewing Company is organizing a painting class hosted by Paint, Sip and Smile from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m Thursday, Oct. 18, at their facility at 121 N. Bridge St. in Bellaire.
The event costs $35 per person, which covers all supplies as well as the first drink.
“We have another organization come in, called Paint, Sip and Smile and they host basically a painting class as they enjoy beer,” said Emily Torrence, creative team project manager at Short’s Brewing Company.
Participants will be given a 12- by 18-inch piece of wood to paint on and will be guided by a local artist to create a unique piece of art. The event is open to participants at all experience levels.
Paint, Sip and Smile suggests arriving 10 to 15 minutes early for checking in and selecting your seats.
