Coldwater’s Applefest & Craft Show was held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, in downtown Coldwater.
The free event saw attendees enjoying excellent food from a variety of local restaurants, browsing the homemade wares of several vendors, looking at inspiring artwork and playing at the designated Kids Zone.
Cayden Sparks, executive director of the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce, which hosted the event, said the event is held in downtown Coldwater to “help the small business community get more people through the door while hosting the festival vendors at the same time.”
Sparks said the event was sponsored by members of the Chamber of Commerce. One of the benefits of being a member of the organization, Sparks said, is for access to special sponsorship opportunities for events like this one, Icefest in the winter and Strawberryfest and Entertainment Under the Stars in the summer.
This year marked the 32nd year of Applefest, Sparks said.
